How Checkout Works
Adding a payment solution to your website or online shop is easy with Checkout. Here’s how it works:
Checkout Lifecycle
When a customer is ready to buy something, the checkout process happens in a few simple steps:
-
Creating the Checkout Session
Once the customer is ready to make a purchase, your website creates a new checkout session. -
Redirecting to Payment Page
Your website receives a link (URL) from Checkout, which leads to a secure payment page hosted by the platform. -
Customer Completes Payment
The customer is taken to the payment page, where they can choose their preferred payment method and complete the payment. -
Redirecting Back to Your Website
After the payment is completed, the customer is sent back to your website. -
Receiving Transaction Updates
Checkout sends Webhook about the payment Status and transaction details directly to your website, so you can handle the next steps, like order fulfillment.
Key Benefits:
- Easy Integration: No need for complex coding to set up the payment page.
- Seamless Experience: Customers can pay easily and securely, and you stay informed about the status of each payment.
- Global Reach: Accept payments from customers worldwide in their preferred currencies.
